Biography
Hello! My name is Kalie Fish, and I am a licensed professional clinical counselor with experience in working with children, adolescents, adults, and families. I have experience in treating an array of diagnoses, including anxiety, depression, ADHD, adjustment disorders, PTSD, and other stressor-related disorders. I can provide Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) in an eclectic style, meaning that I provide therapy based on client need to give the client the best opportunity toward healing. My goal is to facilitate a person in their journey of growth and healing through meeting the client where they are while providing trauma-informed treatment. I enjoy maintaining a collaborative, client-centered and welcoming space to promote client progress toward their treatment goals. It is of the utmost importance to me that each individual who walks into my office feels as though they are heard, respected, and understood. I take a very compassionate, direct approach to therapy, ensuring that the client is getting what they need from me, as well as to provide accountability to one’s growth and progress when it’s needed. I have wanted to be a therapist since I was young, and this is a position that I do not take lightly. I can appreciate the gravity that is the opportunity to be allowed into your life to bring light in some of your darkest moments. I feel it is important to know that I am an avid believer in the alleviation, growth, and improvement that can come from therapy and I look forward to the opportunity to assist you in achieving that for yourself.
