Hello, my name is Dr. Rekita Adams. I am a Clinical Mental Health Counseling intern who brings a compassionate, culturally responsive, and client‑centered approach to the work I do. I hold a Master of Arts in Pastoral Care and Counseling from Ashland University and a Doctor of Ministry from Ashland Theological Seminary, where my studies centered on healing, community care, the lived experiences of marginalized populations, and a biblically grounded approach to spiritual and emotional well‑being.

I am currently completing my graduate training in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, integrating trauma‑informed practice, cultural humility, and holistic wellness into my developing clinical work. My heart is to create a safe, collaborative space where clients feel seen, supported, and empowered as they navigate their own growth and healing.
